The following is a summary of our fundamental doctrines.

Tenet 1 – Of the Scriptures (Word of God and Bible). We believe in the God-breathed inspiration and factual inerrancy of the Scriptures and that the Scriptures are infallible truth. The Scriptures alone serve as the final authority for faith and practice.

Tenet 2 – Of God, the Triune God.  We believe that there is one and only one, living, true, and eternal God and that He exists in the unity of the Godhead where there are three persons; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, each equal in every divine perfection with each executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of the Trinity.

Tenet 3 – Of God the Father. We believe that God the Father, the first person of the Trinity, exists in the Triune God and is a living being.  God the Father, as a living being is holy, pure, moral and merciful. He has intellect and will; and is self-conscious and self-determining as the Sovereign authority over the universe.

Tenet 4 – Of God the Son, Jesus Christ.  We believe that God the Son, Jesus Christ, the second person of the Trinity, exists in the Triune God and is a divine being co-equal with God the Father.  Jesus Christ came to earth; born of a virgin as no other man was ever born or can ever be born of woman; so He is both the Son of God and Son of Man.  Jesus Christ was sinless yet was put to death to meet the righteous demands of God the Father; and is the only means to salvation for mankind.

Tenet 5 – Of God the Holy Spirit.  We believe that the Holy Spirit, the third person of the Trinity, exists in the Triune God and is a divine being co-equal with God the Father and God the Son.  The Holy Spirit is the agent in salvation whereby He draws men to God, baptizes believers in Jesus Christ into the body of Christ where He seals and secures the believer for eternity.

Tenet 9 – Of Atonement for Sin.  We believe that salvation of sinners is wholly of grace through God the Son, Jesus Christ, who substituted Himself in the sinner’s place, the just dying for the unjust. By His death He made a full and vicarious atonement for the sinner’s sins and by His resurrection He provides the sinner who believes in Him hope for the future.

Tenet 10 – Of Grace.  We believe that in order for sinners to be saved from an eternity in Hell, one must be born again through faith and faith alone.  This new birth is instantaneous and not a process whereby the sinner is made a partaker of the divine nature of God and receives eternal life in Heaven, which is a free gift from God.

Tenet 11 – Of Faith, Repentance, and Salvation. We believe that faith in the Lord Jesus Christ is the only condition for salvation. When enabled by the Holy Spirit, a sinner responds in faith to salvation with Godly repentance. We believe that salvation is wholly of God by grace on the basis of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the merit of His shed blood. Salvation cannot be purchased or earned on the basis of human merit or works.

Tenet 12 – Of the Return of Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ will physically return to earth and that His return is imminent.  Upon Christ’s return to earth, He will sit upon the Throne of David to establish the Kingdom of God for a thousand (1000) year reign, known as the Millennium.
